The room was so lousy I didn't
even dare to take off the shoes and I was disgusted even
laying on the bed. In addition the bathroom was one of the
worst I've never seen.

dirtiness I still remember the shit stink everywhere.

Unfortunately it is true and after 13 days I was really

Once landed in Manaus (Amazonas) our luggages went lost
so for days I was wearing long pant and thick shirt.

Turkish guards couldn't accept that somebody
wanted travel in Iraq, my passport was a little worn out
and almost full. They really didn't want me to pass through:
it took 4 hours

The militar was sure my ID was fake and I
wasn't Italian. I got interwied, showed my signature and
I spoke them italian to convince them. At the end
the whole train delayed 20 minutes becuase of this

highest point
A pass in Laddakh (India) between
Leh and Manali; it was 5364 m. By the way,
it has also been the second worst travel I've ever done

sea level; by the way it's the lowest area on the earth

The town of Uland Ude in Siberia (Asian
Russia) got to -34C: it was at the end of December, and
we were waiting for the bus aside the road (Travel

Narvik (Norway): not far from the northenmost

the northermost capital in the world

- Transiberian Train (Russia) from Irkutsk
to Vladivostok in 3rd class: 72 hours, namely 3 days and
3 nights without any stopover to cover 5000km. Just got
off twice for 10 minuts looking for some food (Travel

- Amazon River (Brasil) from Manaus to Belem
by boat: it took 4 days (3 nights) sleeping on the hammocks
hang on the boat deck to cover 1500km.. We had one stopver
